The Safar Publications syllabus is composed of four interlinking series:
1. Learn to Read Series (Qaidah, Tajiwd, Juz Amma)
2. Learn about Islam Series (Islamic Studies)
3. Learn by Heart Series (Duas and Surahs)
4. Learn Arabic Series (Arabic Language)
Each series complements the other. The Learn to Read series equips students to read and recite Arabic text correctly. When Arabic texts appear in the other three series, students are already prepared to read them. The duas and surahs in our Learn by Heart Series have been carefully arranged in an order that fits in with the memorisation requirements of the Learn about Islam Series. So for example, when a student reaches the shahdah, or the duas and surahs of salah in the Learn about Islam Series, they will already have memorised them from the books in our Learn by Heart Series. This saves the teacher and the student from having to memorise arabic text in an islamic studies lesson. This also allows the Madrasah to hire specific teachers who may be well versed in Arabic and not so much in Islamic Studies and vice versa.
We currently only have the Arabic handwriting book in our Learn Arabic Serie. This book improves letter recognition within the Qaidah in our Learn to Read Series. We plan to have a complete Arabic series through which students will be able to understand all the Arabic texts they read throughout the rest of the syllabus isha'Allah.
